Dear Friends of Habitat for Humanity,

Currently, families in your community and across the nation remain in urgent need of secure, affordable housing. The work we do at Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area is about helping people build better futures through decent homes. Partnering with Habitat is a true path that can help families transform their lives and create stability.

We help many families through home construction, rehabilitation, repairs and improvements. Generous friends like you help make this possible. Unfortunately, many people still need safe and stable housing. Your gift of $100, $50, or even $25 to our 2026 Annual Give will help families work with us to build stronger foundations and brighter futures.

Since our founding 41 years ago we have provided 81 newly constructed homes, 42 rehabs and over 300 repair projects. We continue to build in Steelton, PA and preparing for four to six more homes in Harrisburg, PA.

Our Critical Home Repair program provides important repairs for current homeowners to ensure they can continue to live safely and warm in their homes. We continue to expand this program with the Annual Give. Together we can make a profound impact. By supporting Habitat’s mission, the community is empowered to build more that just homes - we are building warm, safety and hope. Through partnerships, volunteers and generous donations, we help families achieve the security and peace of mind that comes with homeownership.

As temperatures drop, your support is more critical. Your gift today will help with weatherproofing homes, HVAC installations, roof repairs and more. With so many families living in inadequate housing, we need your help now. Your support will empower individuals and allow Habitat to continue the pursuit of our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live!

Your donation makes a direct impact on creating safe, energy-efficient homes for families in need. A gift of $25 can provide weather stripping to help seal out drafts, while $50 helps supply plumbing insulation to improve efficiency. With a $100 donation, you can provide wall insulation to keep families warm throughout the year. A $250 contribution helps install energy-efficient doors or windows, reducing energy costs and improving comfort. And with a $500 donation, you can provide an energy-efficient water heater — a lasting improvement that supports sustainability and lowers utility expenses for a Habitat family.
