Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area is Now Accepting Applications for Our Homeownership Program!

We are excited to announce that applications for our Homeownership Program are now open! This is a life-changing opportunity for individuals and families ready to take the first step toward owning a safe, stable, and affordable home.

To begin the process, attendance at a Homeownership Orientation is required. These sessions provide a comprehensive overview of the program, including eligibility requirements, the application process, and what to expect on the journey to homeownership.

Before the Orientation, we will be hosting an Open House, where interested applicants can tour the available Steelton Home. This is a great chance to get a firsthand look at the homes and ask questions in an informal setting. Immediately following the Open House, we will walk across the street to New Jerusalem Ame Zion Church to begin the Orientation session. At the conclusion of the Orientation, applications will be distributed.

During the Orientation, our team will guide you through every step of the process, from submitting your application to the final stages of purchasing a Habitat home. We’ll cover the required documentation, explain our selection criteria, and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and information needed to succeed.
